According to the Master Builders of Iowa, tentative construction bids are being accepted for the Art House Lofts and the Rumley Lofts in downtown.

Both loft remodeling projects are from Chicago based-J&T Development LLC. The Rumely Lofts, 104 S.W. Fourth St., will have 66 apartments with commercial tenants on the ground floor and the Art House Lofts, 340 S.W. Fifth St., on will have 57 lofts with an art gallery on the ground floor.

According to the report, construction is scheduled to begin on both buildings in April.
