Rochon Corp. of Iowa, a commercial construction company located in Urbandale, submitted the lowest bid out of four local companies for the Des Moines International Airport terminal remodel project.

The Des Moines International Airport Board granted approval to move business forward with Rochon in the Dec. 4 meeting.

The remodel will include upgrading some of operations areas in the basement of the terminal, improving the reception area in the administrative area and making the second-floor restrooms handicap accessible.
