Missouri-based network infrastructure and data center provider Bluebird Network acquired its second data center from Geneseo Communications in Bettendorf, Data Center Dynamics reported on Tuesday. The 57,000-square-foot, 6-megawatt ColoHub facility is a former grocery store and was used for Bitcoin mining. The new data center will provide low-latency redundant services to customers in the Quad City area, according to Bluebird Network.
