Branstad joins amicus brief opposing California fuel standards law
Gov. Terry Branstad joined an amicus brief in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals opposing California’s fuel standards law. Branstad said that allowing the California Air Resources Board’s fuel standards to take effect would hurt Iowa’s corn farmers and ethanol markets. The brief was filed by Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning and co-signed by the attorneys general of Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota.
