Registration is now open for the 2026 Business Horizons summer program, an entrepreneurship and leadership experience hosted by the Iowa Association of Business and Industry Foundation and available to all Iowa high school students. The program, now in its 43rd year, will be July 19-23 at Grand View University in Des Moines. During the week-long program, students work in teams to solve a real-world challenge by creating an innovative product or service and building a business around it. The program concludes with competitions in which teams pitch their businesses to investors, film and edit infomercials, and display their work at a trade show judged by industry professionals.
