Business Record Hiring: Event & Project Coordinator
Role: Event & Project Coordinator
Supports: Business Record and other BPC departments as needed
Reports to: Director of Advertising, Business Record
Attributes:
– Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, resourceful, positive, creative, flexible, community-minded, professional.
Skills:
– Candidate must have experience with events.
– Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
– Proficiency in using project management software, Word, Excel, Google Docs and social media tools.
– Strong verbal and written communicator.
– Excellent customer service provider.
– Media experience a plus.
– Not required skills but major pluses: experience with graphic design and affiliated programs (Photoshop/InDesign), videography, photography, previous writing/reporting experience.
Responsibilities:
Events: Assist in planning, execution and marketing of at least 28 events per year across divisions. Coordinate third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Advertising Support: Assist in managing ad traffic and the execution of special sections and special projects. Handle projects and initiatives as assigned by sales director.
Project coordination: Facilitate plans and/or changes to all Business Record sales projects, events, marketing efforts and special projects. Manage and track progress to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Relationships: Assist in managing relationships with sales team, clients, sponsors, venues and all stakeholders as relevant.
