His last day is May 12. Transition planning began in January, the announcement said. A new leader has not been named. “We have made significant progress and have strong momentum. That must continue. … I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences that I have had here. I will always look back on my time leading IETC with fondness,” Butland said. The Iowa EdTech Collaborative is a network of education companies, edtech startups and academic and education stakeholders and economic development leaders Butland started at the Iowa EdTech Collaborative in 2021.
