ChildServe announced it will open its relocated and expanded Des Moines facility on May 11. The site, located at 1750 48th St., consolidates multiple services under one roof, including outpatient speech, physical and occupational therapy, medical child care, an autism day program, applied behavior analysis and mental health therapy. The new facility is expected to increase capacity compared to ChildServe’s Woodland location, which currently serves 60 families. The new location will serve more than 600 families, helping reduce waitlists and improve care coordination, according to a news release. ChildServe has its main campus in Johnston and three additional locations statewide.
