Cinema Under the Stars turns Science Center into outdoor theater
The Science Center of Iowa will host three nights of free outdoor films this summer, starting June 1.
Cinema Under the Stars will feature three space-related movies shown in conjunction with the opening of the center’s new exhibit, “Facing Mars,” on June 2. Films will be shown at dusk on the side of the Science Center building facing West Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.
The lineup for this summer is: “Space Jam” on June 1, “Spaceballs” on July 17 and “Apollo 13” on Aug. 17. Beer and wine will be available from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the patio at the Science Center.
