The Clarke County Development Corp. has launched ClarkeCountyJobs.com, a new locally focused job board that is free to both employers and job-seekers. Full operations on the platform began May 8. The website was developed in response to ongoing concerns from local businesses about difficulties attracting and retaining local talent, as an estimated 25% to 50% of the county’s more than 4,300 non-farm jobs are filled by out-of-county commuters according to a news release. The release said the website was developed to be straightforward with listings linking directly to employer’s websites and no artificial intelligence filtering or automation.
