Clive announced it has marked off several project milestones with the construction of new and updated features at Greenbelt Landing this fall. The 14.89-acre project, located on the east side of NW 114th Street in Clive, will be completed in spring 2026. Once finished, Greenbelt Landing aims to expand recreational opportunities, improve water quality, and enhance natural habitats. Major developments include the Ashley Okland Star Playground,  an inclusive playground donated by Variety – The Children’s Charity of Iowa, an outdoor concert stage, renovations to the special events building and an ADA accessible boardwalk and fishing piers. The total project cost is $10.6 million with over $3.5 million covered by grants and fundraising from donors.
