Credit Union Foundation receives grant in honor of Coopera founder
The Iowa Credit Union Foundation received a $20,000 contribution from Affiliates Management Co., the holding company of the Iowa Credit Union League, in honor of the late Warren Morrow, founder and CEO of Coopera Consulting LLC. Morrow, a native of Mexico, was instrumental in helping the foundation obtain a $428,323 grant that provided matching funds to launch Iowa’s first Credit Union Individual Development Account program and created the foundation’s first executive director position five years ago. Morrow’s wife, Christina Fernandez-Morrow, serves on the Iowa Credit Union Foundation board.
