CSI to release report on insurance and disaster preparedness in Iowa
Common Sense Institute, in collaboration with Iowa State University Professor Cameron MacKenzie, will release a new report titled “Insuring Iowa’s Future: Understanding the Role of Insurance and Natural Disasters in Iowa’s Economy” on Nov. 20. The report examines the economic significance of Iowa’s insurance sector and strategies to address the financial challenges posed by natural disasters. A panel of industry experts will discuss key findings during a public event from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at 717 East Court Ave. in Des Moines. Attendance is free with registration.
