DART offers free rides today
The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority is offering free rides today as part of the first national Get on Board Day, a promotion of public transit. Riders are encouraged to share their support of transit by using hashtags #GetonBoard and #OnBoardwithDART, and by following DART on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. DART reports that 87% of public transportation trips directly benefit the economy.
