Dave & Buster’s, a popular Texas-based arcade and sports bar chain, is moving forward with its plans to build an entertainment venue south of Jordan Creek Town Center in West Des Moines, according to an update provided to some City Council members this week. The chain, which began planning a West Des Moines location in early 2020, halted any new store developments when the pandemic began. The venue is planned at 170 Jordan Creek Parkway. The group is expected to begin the process to seek approval to install private utilities and construct footings and a foundation, West Des Moines city officials said.
