Des Moines-based technology start-up eDossea Inc. is now a preferred Delta Dental of Iowa vendor. The start-up created a platform to streamline referred patient records online between general dentists and dental specialists.

Launched in 2011, the cloud-based service improves efficiencies when transferring and sharing electronic files between dental offices. By using eDossea, dental offices are able to transfer X-ray images and additional files while protecting image quality, tracking referred records and hosting a social environment of communication between providers.

Through this endorsement, providers in Delta Dental’s network will have access to a discount on eDossea’s monthly service fee with no setup costs.
