Catch Des Moines has extended its Des Best series with decals that will be awarded to category winners to display. According to a news release, the new award program is an addition to Catch Des Moines’ Des Best blogs and video series that highlight local residents’ favorite restaurants and shops in the metro area. Officials with Catch Des Moines say the Des Best series is designed to help visitors “live like a local” by creating authentic experiences for visitors. The new Des Best decals have been sent to every business that was listed in one of the Des Best blogs. There will also be digital and social media campaigns to raise awareness about the decals. The goal, officials with Catch Des Moines say, is to support local businesses with the help of local customers and give visitors inside knowledge on the best places to go.
