Winners of the third annual Des Moines Corporate Games will be recognized on the Grand Concourse at the Iowa State Fair on Friday at noon. Sixty-one Des Moines-area companies and nearly 9,000 employees participated in 25 sports and events from June 1 to July 31 as part of the Corporate Games. “The Corporate Games offers a great variety of events and provides the opportunity for individuals with varying interests to participate,” said Marsha Smothers, vice president of human resources for Berkley Technology Services, which won its third straight Corporate Games Cup in Division 2. Additionally, a Blood Donation Challenge was held for the second straight year. Top donor companies in four divisions by size were: Nationwide, Shazam, IMT Group, and Turner Construction.
