The Des Moines Menace soccer team and Des Moines Public Schools have announced a new partnership for the 2026 season focused on student engagement and community access, a news release said. The collaboration includes a Des Moines Public Schools Night on May 30 at Mediacom Stadium, where DMPS students and staff can request up to two complimentary tickets and participate in recognition activities during the game. The partnership also establishes a Student-Athlete of the Match program honoring one male and one female student at each home game during the season, as well as a series of free soccer camps and skills clinics for DMPS students. The Menace will play their home matches at the DMPS-owned Mediacom Stadium on Drake University’s campus, with their first game set for May 9 against Capital City Roots.
