Dice survey shows better job outlook
A survey released by Dice Holdings Inc., a company that hosts several job boards, including Urbandale-based Dice.com, says the majority of hiring managers plan to add to their staff in the second half of 2012.
Six months ago, only 47 percent said they would be hiring. Of the 1,000 managers hiring, 26 percent said economic conditions will spur them to hire more people while only 23 percent said they would spur them to not hire.
Just six months ago, more managers were saying they were planning to not hire more employees than hire them.
