DMACC announces tuition increase
The Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) board of directors has approved a 4.8 percent tuition increase.
The increase, from $125 per credit hour to $131 per credit hour, will be effective next fall at all DMACC campuses. DMACC President Rob Denson said in a press release that the college’s steep growth rate during the past five years has helped cushion budget shortfalls, and that the college has taken aggressive fiscal measures to reduce spending.
