The Downtown Farmers’ Market will transition to the Winter Market on Nov. 20, with vendors offering their products in the Historic Court District in downtown Des Moines. According to a news release, the Winter Market will be offered again on Dec. 4. Breakfast and lunch street vendors will be on-site with the market operating from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days. “We are so excited to host the Winter Market to support local vendors and create a festive atmosphere while people shop for holiday goods and gifts,” Kelly Foss, director of the Downtown Farmers’ Market, said in the release. The Saturday farmers market market will continue from 8 a.m. to noon through the end of October.
