Drake launching data analytics degree programs in Panama

132 wordsAll Latest News, Education, Innovation and EntrepreneurshipDrake University has announced the launch of an international academic program in Panama City, Panama, following a formal partnership with Ciudad del Saber. Through the initiative, students in Panama will be able to pursue an accelerated three-year Bachelor of Science in data analytics with a minor in artificial intelligence, or enroll in a “2+2” program allowing them to complete studies on Drake’s campus in Des Moines. The first application cycle opens in August 2026, with classes set to begin in August 2027. Drake’s program offers guaranteed internships with Panamanian organizations, U.S. study and internship opportunities, and pathways to STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) work authorization. It also aims to address the global demand for data and AI talent and support Panama’s position as a supply chain and innovation hub.
