ESCO Electric Company, a subsidiary of the ESCO Group, is held a groundbreaking ceremony today at 3 p.m. for its new $8.5 million facility along Highway 151 near Highway 13 in Marion. The 35,000-square-foot complex will include 12,000 square feet of office space and 23,000 square feet dedicated to production, warehousing and prefabrication. The project is expected to add 18 jobs over the next three years and consolidate several operational teams currently split between ESCO’s Third Avenue and Third Street locations. Company headquarters will remain at 3450 Third St. Construction is underway and set for completion by November 2026.
