SquareOne DSM’s February Startup Stories luncheon will center on the outlook for startup funding this year. Executive Director Mike Colwell said he’s seeing mixed messages on the prospects. Joining Colwell for a panel discussion will be J.D. Geneser of LWBJ Capital Advisors; Matt Busick of River Glen Private Capital; Sheldon Ohringer, an angel investor and serial entrepreneur; and Eric Lohmeier of NCP Investment Banking. The event runs 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s street-level conference room, 700 Locust St.. Admission is free; lunch is available for $15.
