Know someone who needs individual health coverage? The final day to enroll in a new plan or change current plans through the federal Marketplace is Jan. 15 for coverage beginning Feb. 1. Additionally, Marketplace open enrollment closes on Jan. 31. An enrollment fair will be hosted Wednesday, Jan. 13 from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families, 801 University Ave, Unit 3 in Des Moines, to help individuals and families through the health insurance process. To complete the enrollment application, individuals should bring a current ID, Social Security card, 2014 income tax return and a pay stub, if employed.
