Festival of Trees and Lights raises record $725,000 for Blank Children’s
UnityPoint Health’s Blank Children’s Hospital announced that this year’s Festival of Trees and Lights raised a record $725,000. The five-day public event is the main fundraiser for the Des Moines children’s hospital, supporting its Child Life and Advocacy & Outreach programs. This year, 21,200 visitors attended the event, which was organized and put on by 750 volunteers. In its 36-year history, the festival has raised more than $10.7 million for Blank Children’s Hospital.
