First Interstate Bank has announced Alex Kotz as its new commercial relationship manager for Des Moines. In this role, Kotz is responsible for developing and growing new business while maintaining relationships with clients and prospects. Kotz brings nine years of experience in the financial industry, previously serving as a credit analyst with US Bank and portfolio manager with First Interstate Bank and CIBC. He received an associate’s degree in business administration from Northeast Iowa Community College, and his bachelor’s degree in finance and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa.
