Foreclosure rate continues to fall in Greater Des Moines

Real estate research firm CoreLogic Inc. said the foreclosure rate among all mortgages in Greater Des Moines dropped to 0.74 percent in May from nearly 1 percent in May 2015.

Real estate research firm CoreLogic Inc. said the foreclosure rate among all mortgages in Greater Des Moines dropped to 0.74 percent in May from nearly 1 percent in May 2015. The national foreclosure rate stood at 1 percent in May. The number of mortgages that were at least 90 days delinquent also dropped in Greater Des Moines to 1.9 percent in May from 2.4 percent a year ago.
