Former AIB campus operated at $1.2 million loss for UI
Des Moines Register: The University of Iowa’s Iowa Center for Higher Education, the former AIB campus, had operating losses of nearly $1.2 million since fall 2016, budget information provided the Des Moines Register shows. University officials said the large operating losses prompted the decision to close the campus. Officials announced the campus’ closure as part of a bigger cut that will end six other centers at the UI’s Iowa City campus. In addition, officials said they will reduce funding to five additional centers.
