Former candidate for Iowa governor Fred Hubbell was injured in a bicycle crash in Arizona last week, KCCI reported. His wife, Charlotte Hubbell, issued the following statement: “Fred was on his bike in Arizona Friday afternoon. A motorist ran a red light and struck Fred. He has had a couple surgeries as a result of a fractured pelvis. His injuries are not life threatening but will be going through significant physical therapy.”
