Legal insurance provider ARAG is offering free estate planning services including a simple will, living will and power of attorney documents (health care and financial) to eligible Des Moines-area residents on May 1 from 1 to 7 p.m.

Iowa legal Aid will host the event at the United Way Building, 1111 Ninth St. Legal services will be provided by local attorneys at no cost to attendees.

Free parking is available. Drake Business Law Society members and ARAG employees will volunteer at the event.
