Funeral arrangements for Michael Sadler, who died unexpectedly on Wednesday, have been finalized. Sadler, who was 51, was assistant vice president of public policy and government relations with CenturyLink in Iowa for the past seven years. He was known for his commitment to numerous Greater Des Moines and statewide organizations during his nearly 25 years with the company. “Our CenturyLink family lost a true friend with the passing of Michael Sadler,” said Tim White, vice president of operations for CenturyLink in Iowa. “He was a genuine friend and a compassionate, hardworking colleague. We will truly miss his passion for our community and his great sense of humor. We offer our sincere condolences to his family during this difficult time.” Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines.
