Jerry Stevens, general manager of West Des Moines Water Works, has been elected vice president of the American Water Works Association, the largest organization of water professionals in the world. The election took place at the association’s board meeting on Jan. 21. Stevens, the Iowa section director, will officially begin his two-year term as vice president on June 24, at the association’s annual conference.
