Voting is now open for five nonprofit finalists in Google’s Impact Challenge Iowa, Google announced today. All finalists will receive $175,000. Iowans are invited to vote for the “People’s Choice” winner, who will be awarded an additional $125,000. The five winners are: Buena Vista University’s Lamberti Center for Rural Entrepreneurship and the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corp.; Ethnic Minorities of Burma Advocacy and Resource Center (EMBARC); Four Mounds Foundation; Iowa JAG Inc.; and the New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative. Iowans are invited to vote in support for one nonprofit at g.co/iowachallenge.
