The Greater Des Moines Partnership has announced the appointment of Amanda Briggs as its new chief financial and administrative officer. Briggs, who has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting, will manage the organization’s budgeting and administrative processes. She will ensure that the organization’s standards are maintained while serving investors, members and the Greater Des Moines community. Briggs has held finance leadership roles in various industries, including both for-profit and nonprofit companies throughout Iowa. She is set to begin her role on June 5. Briggs was most recently named Best Accountant in Story County for 2022 and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Upper Iowa University and a certified public accountant designation.
