136 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and Culture, Economic DevelopmentThe Greater Des Moines Partnership has announced Dominic Williams, a senior expert at McKinsey & Co.’s Institute for Economic Mobility, will be the keynote speaker for the 2026 Greater Des Moines Regional Summit, scheduled for Oct. 8 at the EMC Expo Center. The keynote will focus on artificial intelligence and its impact on the future of the regional economy. Drawing on McKinsey’s research on generative AI, the presentation will explore how adoption will influence economic growth and sector competitiveness across Greater Des Moines, a news release said. The annual summit convenes public, private, and nonprofit leaders to address economic and community development across urban, suburban and rural areas, and will include programming tracks on small business, economic development, and inclusive talent. The Partnership’s annual Economic Impact Awards will also be presented during the event.
