Gabriel Glynn, CEO of MakuSafe Corp., will speak at Square One DSM’s November Startup Stories luncheon. Glynn will discuss his conversion from sacking groceries at a corner store to starting a string of businesses, most recently MakuSafe. The company is developing a wearable device for industrial workers that monitors seven environmental exposures that can result in injury or illnesses. Mike Colwell, Square One executive director, will host the discussion, which begins at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 16 at the Greater Des Moines Partnership. The event is free, or $15 if you want lunch.
