Gross-Wen Technologies secures $225,000 from angel investor

79 wordsAll Latest News, Innovation and EntrepreneurshipGross-Wen Technologies Inc. has secured $225,000 in additional financing from strategic angel investor Dave Furbush, founder and vice president of Midwest Project Partners Inc., the Iowa State University StartUp Factory reported. The capital will help the company, which is commercializing an algae-based wastewater treatment system, to expand capacity before it generates revenue from its products and services. The startup is a cohort member of the ISU StartUp Factory. The technology removes nitrogen, phosphorus and other pollutants from municipal wastewater.
