On Feb. 1, Iowa International Association of Business Communicators will host nationally recognized speaker Karen Susman for a half-day professional development seminar.

Susman will teach participants how to maximize presentation results, connect with audience members and ensure the message is remembered. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Principal Financial Group Inc. headquarters, 711 High Street.
