The Film Alliance of Iowa has declared Tuesday as “Film Advocacy Day” and has asked Gov. Terry Branstad to reopen and staff the Iowa Film Office.

The Film Alliance of Iowa has declared Tuesday as “Film Advocacy Day” and has asked Gov. Terry Branstad to reopen and staff the Iowa Film Office. The alliance is made up of representatives from the film and business communities, the group said in a news release. It wants the Iowa Film Office staffed and adequately funded. The alliance is asking people to encourage Branstad to reinstate the office.
