Iowa-based Heartland Express, Inc. was named one of Sears Holdings Corp.’s 2006 Partners in Progress. The prestigious award is given to less than one percent of Sears 41,000 suppliers. Sears gives the award annually to suppliers who have consistently provided the company with high-quality products and services.

Sears has given the Partners award to suppliers for 20 years. “Partners in Progress was started more than 20 years ago and is a testament to the importance we place on having strong supplier relationships,” Sears CEO Aylwin Lewis said at a meeting honoring the winners.
