The Polk County Board of Supervisors has elected Tom Hockensmith as its chairman. Supervisor John Mauro will serve as vice-chairman.

The Polk County Board of Supervisors has elected Tom Hockensmith as its chairman. Supervisor John Mauro will serve as vice-chairman. Hockensmith was first elected as a supervisor in 2003, and most recently served as chairman in 2013. He replaces Angela Connolly. The supervisors meet at 9:30 a.m. each Tuesday at the Polk County Administration Building.
