Hola America Media Group recently received 12 awards at the 2025 National Association of Hispanic Publications José Martí Awards. The publication’s JEFAS Latinas in Business Magazine received three first place recognitions. Hola Iowa also received silver awards for an outstanding health story addressing health care access disparities in Woodbury County and a cultural photo essay showcasing Iowa’s Latino communities as well as bronze honors for an education story, news event photography, photo essays and recognition as an outstanding less-than-weekly newspaper.
