Holmes Automotive Group will unveil the results of a $2 million remodeling project Feb. 28.

The old GMC dealership was modified to house the Honda dealership. The GMC line was sold to Ramsey Auto Center.

Julie DePhillips, director of advertising for Holmes, said Honda has strict guidelines about the appearance of its dealerships, and the remodeling was done to update the building to those standards.

DePhillips said the Hyundai dealership will move into the old Honda building. In December, Holmes announced it would move its Chevrolet dealership from Indianola to Norwalk to be closer to Greater Des Moines.

The Norwalk dealership is scheduled to be open by June 2008.
