House prices increased nearly 5 percent in Greater Des Moines

Greater Des Moines house prices increased 4.9 percent for the year ending in May, real estate analytics firm CoreLogic Inc. said in a release. Prices advanced 0.9 percent from April to May. Nationally, prices increased year over year by 5.9 percent, and 1.3 percent from April to May. CoreLogic predicts that that home prices will increase by 5.3 percent on a year-over-year basis from May to May 2017.
