The IMT Des Moines Marathon Weekend has announced the addition of the Bankers Trust 10K, a new race distance for 2026. The event will debut as part of the marathon weekend’s 25th anniversary celebration on Oct. 18. Organizers said the new distance was added in response to participant feedback. The 10K will also be offered at the inaugural Cedar Rapids Marathon Weekend on June 7. Both events are produced by Endurance Sports Marketing, a local event company. Registration for all IMT Des Moines Marathon Weekend and Cedar Rapids Marathon Weekend races, including the new 10K, is now open at desmoinesmarathon.com and cedarrapidsmarathon.com.
