The merger unites two legacy architecture and design firms within the HFW Cos. network in a move to create a national architectural collective that combines the expertise, cultures and geographic reach of nearly 200 employees
The new Invision will have offices in Iowa (Des Moines, Waterloo and Iowa City), Jacksonville, Fla., Dallas, Atlanta and Kansas City, Mo. The firm’s clients will have access to architectural and design expertise in the areas of health care, education, workplace, government, hospitality and several others.
Kansas City, where GastingerWalker& is located, will remain a permanent and integral hub within Invision’s national platform, according to a news release. Invision is committed to long-term investment in the region, continued growth of the local team, and expansion of the company’s Midwest footprint.
GastingerWalker& is known for designing iconic Kansas City landmarks such as Starlight Theatre and J. Rieger & Co. Distillery. Invision’s portfolio includes award-winning Iowa projects such as the Cedar Falls High School and UnityPoint Health – Blank Children’s STAR & Developmental Center.
