Iowa Women’s Foundation accepting applications for child care grant program

124 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and Culture, Women’s and Gender IssuesThe Iowa Women’s Foundation is now accepting letters of interest for its upcoming Building Community Child Care Solutions grant cycle. The fund is in its sixth year and to date has awarded $190,000 to child care programs across the state. All registered and licensed child development homes, child care centers and preschools are eligible to apply, and must be working to increase the availability of quality, affordable child care in the state. Letters are due by July 29. After review, those that move to the next round will be notified by Sept. 1 and be asked to complete a more detailed application. Funding is to be used in the 2023 calendar year. More information can be found on the Iowa Women’s Foundation website.
