The Iowa Women’s Foundation announced $400,000 in grant funding awarded to 13 organizations at its annual luncheon on Nov. 5. According to a press release, grant-making is one of IWF’s five pillars of sustainable change, funding programs working to relieve evidence-based barriers to economic self-sufficiency. 

The 2025 grant recipients are:

• Anchored Hope – Ames
• Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque – Dubuque
• Dress for Success Des Moines – Urbandale
• Dubuque Area Labor-Management Council – Dubuque
• Family Resources – Davenport
• House of Hope – Waterloo
• Johnson County Affordable Housing – Iowa City
• Lead(h)er – Davenport
• Moravia Community School District – Moravia
• Native American Child Care Center – Sioux City
• Sanborn Daycare Association – Sanborn
• Try Pie Bakery – Waterloo
• Vince Jetter Community Center – Clinton

To date, the Iowa Women’s Foundation has awarded $2.3 million to 249 organizations across the state serving Iowa’s women and girls.
